over Loch Linnhe, is ideally placed for holidays in Argyll and the Scottish Highlands. Oban is around forty
minutes away with historical Glencoe with its
majestic mountains only three miles away. The Glencoe area provides all year round activities
including climbing, hillwalking, skiing, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, mountain biking, canoeing, and golf. With so many activities on your doorstep you will never be stuck for something to do.
The Fort William and Lochaber area with the UK's highest mountain,
Ben Nevis and also the Aonach Mhor Ski centre and
gondola offers further climbing and skiing challenges.
The award winning Ice Factor indoor climbing centre
is in Kinlochleven which is only 10 minutes drive.
The property is under the same ownership as the Holly Tree Hotel at Kentallen Pier about a mile and a half away. There is a swimming pool and sauna there which guests of Cormorant are welcome to use free of charge. The Hotel also serves bar meals, fine wines and local ales all day and is open all year.
